Google had several answers: video convertors from €30,- up to €630,- and most important for me: There was no plug ‘n play solution. After a good search I’ve found the solution on YouTube!

Rename your *.TOD files to *.M2T (Note the capitals in the extension) and play/edit your video in your favourite video player!
What is this for stupid marketing trick? Who decided to take the same file structure with another extension so the whole world has to buy himself a new piece of expensive software? It’s almost a criminal action…
